3/21 Magic the Gathering Regional Championship Qualifier Sealed Event

Get ready to drop into the sewers and fight for glory in our TMNT RCQ event! This will be a sealed event using prerelease kits. Build your deck from fresh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cards and battle it out for prizes, promos, and a shot at the Regional Championship.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, March 21
Start: 10:30 AM
Format: Sealed using TMNT prerelease kits
Location: Darkstone Comics, 69 Brookside Ave, Chester, NY

Entry Pricing:
Early Bird: $65 until March 14
Standard: $75

Each player receives a TMNT prerelease kit containing 6 booster packs to open and build a minimum 40-card deck using only those cards, plus any number of basic lands provided by the store. (Note: The extra sealed rare inside prerelease kits is not legal for play in this tournament. To ensure game integrity, we will be removing these from kits before passing them out. The sealed cards will then be handed out randomly along with participation promos.)

The event will run Swiss rounds based on attendance. The Top 8 players advance to a booster draft and then compete in a single-elimination tournament. Matches are best of three games.

The winner of the final match earns the RCQ invitation, Champions pin & lanyard set, a sealed booster box of TMNT, and the top share of the prize pool.

Participation and Top Finisher Promos:
All participants receive a non-foil Flowerfoot Swordmaster promo card. Top 8 finishers will receive a non-foil Manifold Mouse promo card. The champion will receive a foil Manifold Mouse promo card.

Under 12 players: Only the invite, promos, pins, and booster box will be awarded
12 players: $100 prize pool
16 players: $300 prize pool
24 players: $600 prize pool
32 players: $1,000 prize pool
